West Ham make Sessegnon move

West Ham have reportedly been in contact with Ryan Sessegnon about a potential move this summer.

The 24-year-old is a free agent after leaving Tottenham, with the club deciding against using their option to extend his deal by a further year.

And the Guardian state that the Hammers have been in contact with the left-back over joining them this summer, with new manager Julen Lopetegui keen to add competition for Emerson Palmieri.

However, the report states that West Ham would need to be convinced that Sessegnon's injury problems are behind him before committing to a move.

Spurs linked to Tammy Abraham

According to reports in Italy, Spurs are one of four Premier League clubs interested in a move for former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

The 26-year-old has spent the last three years in Serie A with Roma, but the Italian club are apparently set on selling the striker to fund a move for Alvaro Morata this summer.

Corriere della Serra (via SportWitness) claim that Roma are seeking €30million (£25.4million) to allow the striker to leave. Whether Spurs would be prepared to pay that is another matter.

Hojbjerg admission

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's agent has moved to clarify the midfielder's future.

Hojbjerg has been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer, with the Denmark star having just one year remaining on his current deal. Clubs such as Atletico Madrid, Fulham, Juventus, Napoli and Fenerbahce have all been rumoured to be considering a move.

And Hojbjerg's agent has told Fabrizio Romano that he and the 28-year-old will evaluate "all the possibilities" after his involvement at Euro 2024 with Denmark finishes.

"A player like him will surely be part of a club with great ambition or project because he is not just a strong player, but with a character made to fight for important things every year. Pierre feel comfortable in the pressure to win and I am working in this sense.

"He is telling me that every year he dream of trophies in the end of the season and don’t like to play for nothing. This is his mindset, this is the mission.

"I am working on the many requests that we have already received, yes; but we will analyse all the possibilities after the Euros, during the holidays when we will spend some time together and then look forward to the next chapter."

Son interest

Apparently, there is growing interest in a move for Son Heung-min this summer.

TEAMtalk state that Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad have made Mohamed Salah their top target during the transfer window. However, if they are unable to persuade him to leave Liverpool, they will turn their attention to attempting to get Daniel Levy to part ways with Spurs' captain.

If they fail in moves for both of the Premier League stars, they will try to sign Juventus star Federico Chiesa.

Toney rumours

Spurs have been linked with a move for Ivan Toney for some time.

The Brentford striker has a year left on his deal in west London, and could be available for a decent price this summer.

There were reports today that Spurs have had a £40million bid turned down for the striker, but that they had reached a verbal agreement on terms with the striker.

However, football.london understands that is not the case currently.

Eze transfer verdict

Ebere Eze has been linked with a move to Tottenham this summer. Is it a deal Spurs should be looking into?

The attacking midfielder is obviously talented, but is that a priority position for Tottenham in the transfer window?

The 25-year-old is currently on international duty with England, so a deal is unlikely to be done until after Euro 2024.

We take a look here at whether Spurs should make a move.

Spurs set for lucrative new deal

Spurs are looking to plug an £18million sponsorship hole this summer.

The club were left in a predicament with the news that their sponsorship with Getir would come to an end at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season as expected following some difficult times for the company. However, Sky News reported last month that Spurs were still owed around £5million from that deal.

Here, football.londontakes a look at what the club have lined up to try and fix problems this summer.

Vanderson eyed

According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are considering a move for Monaco right-back Vanderson if Emerson Royal departs this month.

However, it will apparently be difficult as Monaco want over €40million (£33.8million) for the 22-year-old.

football.london understands that Spurs have a strong interest in and have been closely watching Leeds teenager Archie Gray this season.

However, they are far from alone in that, with a number of Premier League sides interested in the young star.

Hojbjerg decision

With just one year remaining on his Tottenham contract, it looks like Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will be allowed to leave the club this summer.

According to the Daily Star, Spurs are looking for around £20million for the midfielder. Atletico Madrid, Fulham, Juventus and Napoli have been linked with a move, and now a new club are said to be in for him.

Former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has taken over at Fenerbahce and has been linked with a reunion for the Danish star, who was in action at Euro 2024 in the 1-1 draw against Slovenia.

Takefusa Kubo links

Spurs are among a number of Premier League teams being linked with a move for Real Sociedad star Takefusa Kubo.

Amid claims last week of a rejected bid for Spurs, the 23-year-old is said to also be attracting interest from Manchester United and Liverpool.

Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness) state that there have been no offers received yet for Kubo, but five Premier League clubs including Spurs have made enquiries, with Tottenham prepared to make an offer.

Real Sociedad will reportedly not let the attacker leave for less than his €60million (£50.7million) release clause. That is because Real Madrid will be earning a cut of the transfer fee following his exit from the Bernabeu in 2022.
