“Didn't have to wait for a table on a Friday night for a party of two. I think if you're a larger party, you may have to wait. Got cha gio, pho tai chin, and a cafe sua da. The cha gio and cafe sua da was nothing special. Not the best I've had, but not bad at all. The star of the show was the broth of the pho. It was very tasty, with no overpowering notes from a singular spice. All the ingredients from the beef in the pho tai, to the vegetables served with the cha gio were very fresh.“

“Come for a flavor packed meal! The flavors packed a punch on all the dishes we ordered. To try multiple things, we shared all three dishes family style. Pictured are: Banh beo dia, Banh it kep Banh ram, and Bun mit mam nem. My personal favorite was the vermicelli with jackfruit salad - had great flavor and a nice kick ?. Service was good and pretty quick!“

“Garlic and Chives is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the OC area.Restaurant, including the restrooms is clean. Service is prompt and courteous. Lots of parking available in the plaza lot. We have been lucky to come at times when they are not that busy, but I imagine that they would get pretty packed during peak hours.As for the food, everything on their menu is great. We only wish that they also served pho, simply because we love pho and thats literally the only thing that they are missing! Yes, there are tons of pho places in the area, but if they added it to their menu, it would be heaven as all our favorite Vietnamese dishes would be served in one restaurant!Only reason for subtracting one star is due to the price compared to the size of the dishes. You can actually see how the prices keep being increased as there are price stickers stacked on top of each other on their menu. *Cries in California*“

“Came for lunch on a weekday. Few people and light hearted atmosphere when we got there. Boss greeted us warmly and gave us recommendations. We got the numbers 12 and 15. The highlight here is the tender, delicious, fresh-tasting meats used. The portion is big and the staff provided quick service. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for quality meat and broth in their pho noodle soup.“

“Not sure what Mr.BuffettSoCal was talking about. seems like he just likes to write creatively. I did not experience any of whatever amusem*nt park he was talking about. I came here yesterday and bought the 12 piece tray. I selected a variety of cakes and a couple jellos. i must say all of it is so so tasty. the store inside is small and humble, family owned. Appeared clean and service was so kind and helpful. she showed me the different sizes and little cakes i could order. all of which was packed nicely. steamed cakes came with coconut sauce and sesame seeds. I will definitely be back here to this little gem.“

“My friends and I, a group of 4, came to BCTT last Saturday morning. As I arrived, there were many people who already signed and was waiting outside. It was so crowded, that server took order in advance, and as we were seated, server brought ordered food out within 15 mins.Banh cuon was very good, BCTT's iced water was different and specially great. Since we all poured nuoc mam over our banh coun, we all tried to finish everything. I've tried bctt at different restaurants, I like BCTT the most. I'll definitely return whenever I want banh coun Thanh Tri1?.Parking: Our group had no problem finding a parking space when we came by at 11am Saturday morning.“

“We come here almost every week for their pork belly in clay pot and Thai seafood soup. Their food consistently tastes delicious and the price is reasonable. In terms of customer service the waiters are very diligent and the owner is very friendly as well. One negative is parking can be a hassle to find at times. Other than that we have had a great experience overall coming here.“

“Great service and food. We had the combination pho and the beef stew. Both were delicious and had more flavor than any other pho restaurant we've been to in years. We've been here 3 times now and every time one of the owners has taken care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive that it makes you feel like you just sat down to a family dinner with a doting parent. This is a truly special place.“

“Solid option for good pho and fair price ($13 for small). The small size is a generous portion that is almost comparable with the large. The broth is simple, with mostly a clean, salty beef flavor (as opposed to complex with the addition of more aromatics and spices). The quality of the well-done brisket was good, and the rare steak was not bad as a meat cut--though not exactly what I'd consider "rare" steak--and both were tender. There are other places I would choose to go out of personal preference, but I'd be perfectly content eating here in the future. 4/5“

“Very good banh mi. The bread itself is always good, never stale or well done where it cuts the inside of your mouth. I go here specifically for the grilled pork/thit nuong sandwich. Something about the flavor here makes it one of my favorites. Some places make it too sweet or it's too fatty. The cold cut is also delicious. “(Via Eat the World Los Angeles) - If you have ever walked around the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, there is a good chance that you sat down at a stall offering hủ tiếu nam vang. Throngs of people sit on colorful plastic stools under sidewalk trees to enjoy this ultra-economical bowl of noodles on a daily basis. The stalls and carts they order from display the ingredients of the bowl for all to see, while steaming cauldrons of broth are ready to be ladled. Like those vendors, there is only one dish featured here at Hủ Tiếu Đệ Nhất, with various options for each bowl.“

“I'm not vegetarian by any means but I love this place. Food is amazing I generally order the mushroom clay pot rice. It's my absolute fave. It's a must and a staple there for me. Service is wonderful. Everyone there is so nice and kind. Really cool spot to eat, but it is a little on the smaller side and it does get pretty busy. Overall I've had a 10/10 experience here and will come back again and of course order to go!“

“This place is fire. Luckily scored a table because I went early enough but there is a wait during the busy times. A lot of people were ordering to go as well. The portions are huge so you can honestly split them if you’re not too hungry. I finished it just fine though since I was pretty hungry. A whole container of fish sauce is at every table so you can add as much or as little as you want. Definitely authentic and they sell other things as well. Highly recommend!“

“A tiny little restaurant but food was surprisingly very good.Ordered their xoi man today, sticky rice with chinese sausage, fried eggs, dry shrimp, shredded pork roll, shredded dry pork, and quail eggs.Amazingly good. Sticky rice was done perfectly and not overcooked; and they give plenty of protein toppings.A bit out of my way but I will definitely be back again soon.Also got a package of chicken lemongrass jerky, which I have yet to try. Hopefully it will also be as yummy.“

“We ordered both the first and second pho on the menu. The difference between them was just the size. The first one was huge and the second one was smaller but still filling. The pho was delicious and they gave us many beef slices. I was so thirsty when I got there but they charge for water so I ordered the lemon soda instead. I was worried that it would be super sweet and taste very artificial but it wasn’t, it was actually pretty good. My friend ordered the passion fruit drink and I thought it was a bit too sweet. Overall, it was really good and I would love to try their other food.“

“Bo De Vegetarian Food is venue located at a corner of an old strip mall -- part takeout and part sit down restaurant. The front entrance throws you off with a hodgepodge of a rickshaw, an out of place Italian cook and an outdoor seating. Upon walking in, a table of prepackaged foods and a lion head (probably leftover from Lunar Year celebration) is in full displayed. In the background, country music is playing. However, don't let this fool you. The service from the friendly and engaging staff is wonderful. The selection and vegetarian food are full of flavors. The first time we visited, we opted to sit in and enjoy the full service. The booths were very well decorated with Buddhism symbolism. We ordered the steam rice rolls with mock meat (3/5). The texture of the steamed rice rolls were dry and not tender. We also tried the kungpoa "chicken" (4/5). The dish was surprisingly very food, crisp and flavorful. The second visit (and likely more in the future), we turned to the left side which are to-go takeout counters of pre-made food. There are usually a dozen choices -- selection varies and tofu curries are only available the 15th of each month (lunar calendar). We ordered 4-5 vegetarian dishes --- stirred fried eggplant, bitter squash melon soup, fried tofu patties and mock "catfish ". My only complaint -- the temperature of the food is cool. I was surprised no hot water or heat lamp to keep the food warm. Otherwise, I'll keep returning to support this establishment. I wish the price-model sticks to labeled on each container size. A couple times, I question the charges.“

“The phở here was okay compared to the many other phở restaurants around the area but I like how this place is open late since I ate here at midnight. Service is friendly and otherwise pretty decent place to eat phở but there are other options in the area.“

“I have eaten here a few times and the food is honestly not bad. None of the dishes is the best around here, for example Pho Good across the street has better pho though Pho Hoan is still 2nd among the places I've eaten, one exception is pho satay since not many places sell it. Its advantage is that every dish is decent so you have a good variety to choose from.“

“We're from Texas and came here for one thing after a full weekend of universal and Disney! Bo ne hit the spot ! It is prob one of our fav so far. Really because this is a different one than our norm. It come with a mushroom gravy or something on it. It makes scooping up the sauce with the French roll so delicious and satisfying! Every table around us also got at least one order of Bo ne. This place is on my fav list now. The servers are very nice and fast too. My review is only based on our one item here since we're hopping around trying things on my food tour list. But would come back just for this. Now on to more delicious Viet Cali food!“

“Really delicious with unbeatable prices. It's definitely a hole in the wall so don't expect the restaurant to be super clean. I came here on a week night and it was pretty crowded. I ordered the Bun Cha Gio - yum! The egg rolls came out hot and crispy. Giving it 4 stars because they seem to charge for every little thing including a glass of tap water. “It used to be Co Ba restaurant and as i recalled the food was amazing. Then it changed to Quan Nha Hai Lua. The food has been good. My go to has always been the House Special Noodle (Nam Vang Khô) but dry version so the soup is on the side. I like the regular rice noodles not the clear more chewy texture one. The toppings were good amount and taste except the fish cake. It had too much filler and not fish-like no more.“

“I worked with Kevin to coordinate my wedding and everything turned out exactly as I hoped. I think the most impressive part was that I had leftover bottles of cognac (1738, about $60 per bottle) that we forgot at the restaurant after we left and the staff let my friends know so I could pick it up the next day. More notes: - we had 25 tables, which meant we qualified for free cake from Long Phung bakery (and a few other things like the name logo on the floor, fog machine during first dance, champagne tower, flowers on the table, apple cider during the champagne toast) - They allowed us to have 1 bottle of cognac on each table plus beer in the back (they set up a fancy cooler for us) with no extra charge - We were able to ask for meal substitutions, since we wanted more variety on the menu rather than just all seafood. Kevin was very honest with us about what was good and what he didn't recommend. - We had pictures on a slideshow playing on the 2 big screens. - The bridal suite had a lock (combo), was great for me when I needed to change clothes or put away valuable things like red envelopes!“

“I've been coming here for refreshing yummy fresh pressed sugar cane drinks. The pressed it fresh right in front of you with their sugar cane pressing machine. So yummy especially on a hot day. You can purchase it without ice, just have to pay a different price without ice. The prices are great too. They also sell other drinks but they are known for their sugar cane drinks. Came here on a Monday of Lunar New Year and The line at 1:45 p.m. was a bit long but was going pretty fast 1.23.23 Associate was friendly & service was fast. I decided to get the 1/2 gallon bottle to enjoy. Located in the same plaza as Hoa Binh Supermarket A few doors down and from Boiling Crab Restuarant. The store sells nice fresh flowers especially during the Lunar New Year festival. Also sold fresh fruits, Vietnamese steamed pork rice wrapped in Bambu. Along w other yummy Vietnamese treats. Started selling fried pork rinds. Lots of parking in the same plaza as Hoa Binh supermarket. A few doors down from Boiling crab & Sunmerry bakery.“
