I just watched Vidhu Vinod Chopras real life based movie “12th Fail”. It depicts truly inspiring journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, in Mumbai he also recognizes as Singham or Simba. He started his career with 0 money, doing all kind of odd jobs like cleaning toilets, tea server, librarian. He managed to clear UPSC exam in such circ*mstances with rank of 154th rank all India. UPSC is considers to be one of the most difficult exams in the world. I have similar respect for all the other people who clears the same exam. But truly inspiring journey would be of those people who starts from 0. That’s very huge jump in life. These kind of stories touch my heart because these people don’t really have ability to see this kind of dreams in their lives. But still they do and they manage to achieve it at any cost. The only weapon they have is poverty. They have this determination and dedication to go out of poverty. When you already know that you are standing at 0, you have nothing really to lose, it gives you tremendous amount of energy to run. Most of the people who doesn’t start from 0 surrounding them have doubts and wish to not see them succeed. I think that gives them more power and passion to work towards it. In the end, when one of this kind of student manages to succeed in their career, that creates MAGIC. I think these level of emotions usually only sees in countries like India. Where there is a huge gap between poor vs middle class people, and middle class vs upper class people. #inspiration #upscexam #ips #emotions
